The match schedule for the 2025 Women's World Cup, which will be held from April 9-20 in České Budějovice, Czechia, has been announced.

Last season, Czechia hosted the Women Euro Hockey Tour for the first time, with the Women's World Championship coming just a season later.

The 10 teams participating in the tournament are divided into two, tiered, five-team groups in the Preliminary Round.

In Group A are Czechia, Canada, USA, Finland and Switzerland.
Group B includes Germany, Sweden, Japan, Norway and Hungary.

Within the group, all teams will meet each other. All five teams in Group A will advance to the quarterfinals, while the top three teams in Group B will advance.

The group stage of the tournament will last exactly one week. It will start on the 9th and run until the 16th of April. On Saturday 19 April, in addition to the two semi-finals, the 5th place match will be played, and on Sunday the tournament will end with the bronze medal match and of course the final.

Ticket sales for the Women's World Championships will start in early November 2024.
