Talk about leaving no doubt! With a 20-1 goal differential and a perfect record so far, the U.S. retains first place in our second Power Rankings of the 2026 Olympic women’s hockey tournament. Defending champion Canada hangs on to second place, wrapping up the preliminary round with a 5-0 victory over Finland after a tough loss by that same score to the Americans. And the Czechs move into third place, having blanked their frequent bronze-medal rival Finland 2-0 in group play. We can't wait for the do-or-die tension of the quarter-finals!
