Düsseldorf Dome
Spectacle, action, excitement and a great atmosphere: With a capacity of up to 15,151 spectators, the Düsseldorf Dome is one of Germany’s most modern multifunctional arenas. Since its opening in 2006, it has hosted top-class sporting events, international concerts, major TV productions, and elegant corporate functions. It is home to the Düsseldorfer EG ice hockey team and has become a landmark venue in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The Düsseldorf Dome stands for state-of-the-art event technology and maximum flexibility. Within only eight hours, the arena can be transformed from an ice rink into a concert hall. The interior offers between 1,800 m² and 2,400 m² of event space, depending on the configuration, and allows for a roof load of up to 140 tons — ideal for large-scale productions and spectacular stage designs.
A feel-good atmosphere of the highest standard awaits guests in the modern VIP areas, the exclusive business seats, and the newly renovated VIP lounges. The Business Club provides stylish surroundings for corporate hospitality.
Accessibility is another key feature: The venue can be easily reached by public transport, bicycle, car, or plane. A tram stop directly in front of the Arena connects it to Düsseldorf’s city centre, while a large number of parking spaces and the proximity to Düsseldorf International Airport (only 10 minutes by car) ensure smooth arrivals for fans.
Since its major refurbishment in 2022, the Düsseldorf Dome shines in new splendour: capacity increased from 14,300 to 15,151 spectators, the lighting system was upgraded to 3,400 lux, and the VIP and lounge areas were completely modernised. These upgrades have made the Arena not only more comfortable and sustainable but also technically ready for the next generation of live entertainment.
As the second largest event arena in Düsseldorf, Germany’s fourth largest ice hockey arena, and one of the top ten indoor arenas nationwide, the Düsseldorf Dome regularly hosts world-class artists and events — from AC/DC, Die Ärzte, and P!NK to the MTV EMAs, ISTAF Indoor, and Glory Kickboxing.
