IIHF releases game schedules for all lower division U20 World Championships

The International Ice Hockey Federation has published the game schedules for all 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship tournaments across the lower divisions. The announcement completes the overview of the upcoming U20 international season, providing fans and teams with a clear picture of when and where their national teams will compete.

The 2025/26 hockey season is already underway, and one of its biggest highlights will be the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship in Minnesota, USA — a tournament that has already released its schedule. Now, the IIHF is revealing the full list of games for all six lower division U20 tournaments, which will take place across Europe and Asia in December 2025 and January 2026.

The Division I, Group A tournament will be hosted in Bled, Slovenia, from 7 to 13 December 2025, while Milano, Italy, will stage the Division I, Group B event from 8 to 14 December 2025. After the New Year, the action continues with the Division II tournaments — Bucharest, Romania will welcome Division II, Group A teams from 4 to 10 January 2026, followed by Division II, Group B in Belgrade, Serbia, from 18 to 24 January 2026.

At the Division III level, Sofia, Bulgaria, will host Group A from 19 to 25 January 2026, while Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, will stage the Group B event from 18 to 24 January 2026. Each of these tournaments will determine promotion and relegation within the U20 structure, as young players from around the world compete for a place among the elite.
